2 About Using Your Reference Manager with Manuscripts
Manuscripts supports adding citations using a variety of commercial and free reference managers.
Some reference managers, such as Papers, F1000Workspace, and Bookends, have their own citation tools that allow you to directly insert a citation into your manuscript.
For reference managers that do not provide such a tool, you can import your reference library into Manuscripts, then use the built-in citation tool. You will need to re-import your library if you add references, which is as quick as selecting a menu item.
